I don't normally walk about town dressed as a Knight - but I thought the imagery was perfect for this new album, Warrior for the King.
It's very exciting to see God keeping His word everyday!!
I thank God for placing these songs - and their message - into my heart (and care) nearly 27 years ago - and for being patient with me to finish what He started so very long ago. I was 26 when these songs were first inspired and captured on paper...and 52 before 'God's timing was right' for this labor of love to come to completion.
I'm not an aspiring recording artist or a wantabee rock star. I'm simply a Warrior for the King...a 'Prayer Warrior.' A guy that has taken God at His word.
I've hidden His word and promises in my heart and have tried to be faithful during the dark times...when it seemed He wasn't listening. And quick to boast of His awesomeness when prayers are answered - especially when you know - without question, that God has heard your cry, looked your way, and granted you favor and blessings...time and time again.
I'm a father of two beautiful daughters, Kelly and Grace. Both of which are my heros! Linda, my lovely bride of 36 plus years is no doubt my very best friend!! We talk about everything together - we have no secrets. Without her encouragement, love, support and devotion - these songs would still be entombed within my guitar case.
