Can only one man, one family, one community, or one nation really make a difference today?
Not long after God created humankind, His forbearance ran out, and He decided to bring a cataclysm upon the earth. He selected a man named Noah to undertake the world’s first shipbuilding project. First, He told Noah what He planned to do.

Noah faced a crisis of belief where he had to decide what he believed about God. Could he believe in a God whose purpose was to destroy all creation? Human reason suggested it was time to run and hide.
Faith said, Listen and obey.
All the characters you learn about in the Scriptures were just plain ordinary people. It was their relationships with God that made each of them extraordinary.
Can only one man, one family, one devoted church or village, one community, or one nation really make a difference today? You bet they can!
For seven days, the ridicule, taunting, and jokes prevailed. But on the eighth day, it began to rain.
When God reveals Himself, it is our cue and invitation to examine and adjust our lives to His desires.
Like Noah, we need to be willing to stand, to endure, and to defend our faithfulness to things we hold true and honorable, including the Word of God.
We can learn from Noah that despite how things may appear, regardless of the nay-Sayers in our lives, God has a plan.
Can you smell the rain in the air? It’s coming.
